A cold wind blows from the north upon your face as you climb the small hill (unless you live north of the 43rd parallel, in which case it would be south). A solitary figure stands before you, just shy of the peak.

"Miss me?" he utters, an indifferent grin sending chills down your spine, "rest assured, it will be worth the wait."

He takes a step toward you, the sound of his feet hitting the ground a distant reminder of his former presence. He senses your apprehension, cooling stating "do not fret, I've learned much during my tenure. Our previous venture may have failed, but this time we will succeed. All we need is the right mindset."

He sat down upon the icy concrete. Hours ago the sun was kind enough to warm the terrain with its presence, but now it was the stars' turn. Their plans would betrayed again in a few more hours with the return if the sun. This ballet would never seem to cease.

Okay, that didn't go over so well. I tried to be more dramatic with my return, but whatever. Here's all you need to know:

I will continue the super hero story I've started.
The story concerning Leon and company is pretty much done. I may return to it years later, but not in the forseeable future.
One more bit of news that I'm excited about. This time, I'm going for the full monty. No, not that monty. Rather, this time I have a goal instead of writing for the sake of writing. I'll be writing with the goal of being published. I feel I can pull this off, but only the great judge will tell (that's time, for those of you who aren't good with my metaphors).
